Primark's makeup range could be the perfect way to save money, even for those who love high-end cosmetics. With some products drawing comparisons to the likes of Chanel bronzers and Charlotte Tilbury's highlighter and blush wands, Primark is perfect for those who want to look glam on a budget.

Allan Craig, self-proclaimed CEO of boy glam, embarked on an experiment to pull off "a full face of Primark beauty," noting that there are "so many dupes" for big brands. He questioned: "Is nobody safe?" while pointing out that Primark's offerings often retail at less than half the price of their high-end counterparts.

Allan's beauty test run began with Primark's 'sculpt and freeze' brow wax, followed by a £3 brow pencil—a bargain choice, although he professed his usual preference for a brow pen, a product which commentators mentioned Primark also stocks. Despite this deviation from his regular routine, he still achieved flawless brows.

Next, he tested the SPF 50+ skin tint primer and commented on its "glazed" effect, which he seemed to like. This was topped with a CC cream likened to a pricier counterpart by IT Cosmetics.

Primark's CC cream boasts beneficial ingredients including 'niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, and peptide complex'—and even comes with SPF 30. As for Allan's verdict on the £6 skincare-makeup hybrid, initially, he expressed concern that the product might not "dry down" properly.

However, his attention quickly shifted to the bronzing sticks, which were incredibly creamy and priced at just £3.

He described the tone of the product as "lovely," and appreciated how it "melted in," a quality he was "here for."

Next, he tested the flawless cover concealer, comparing it to the popular Tarte Shape Tape. Despite wishing for a slightly larger applicator, he lauded the coverage as "gorgeous," describing it as "really, really lightweight." He praised the formula as "super thin, but really good coverage," which he "loves.

"I can see why this went viral," he commended.

He then tried a blush duo similar to Patrick TA's product. As he applied it to the high points of his cheekbones, he exclaimed: "Is it just me, or is that gorgeous?"

"That's maybe the best thing yet," he continued, rating it a perfect "10 out of 10."

In a follow-up video, he used Primark's four-in-one setting powder, which he said was comparable to Givenchy's powder, but at a fraction of the price - only £4. He found it "nice," but admitted he prefers a heavier setting powder for his makeup looks.

Finally, he used the powder from the blush duo, stating that it didn't disappoint, making it an ideal choice for those planning to shop at their local Primark store.

Allan highly recommended the blush duo, a Patrick TA dupe from Primark, which is a steal at just £4.

He then moved on to the sun-kissed bronzer, noting that although it isn't super pigmented. "It's really sheer, but it's really nice," he said, claiming it adds a "sheen and a glaze to the skin."

Allan was impressed with the 'Up All Night' setting spray, an Urban Decay dupe, exclaiming: "I'm not gonna lie, this skin looks really good."

He also tried out a lip liner designed to plump the lips and a lip tint in a beautiful nude shade, which he found to be "really nice."

Wrapping up his review, Allan said: "The skin looks popping. This is a complexion routine I can get behind, especially for the price. I think my favourites from this are the blush duo, I cannot get over the blush duo.

"The concealer I really, really liked. I'm gonna have to use it again with my setting powders because I wasn't too enthused on this [the Primark Givenchy dupe]. Then the shimmery bronzer was gorgeous. So, these are the three I would recommend the most".
